Altar Servers

Altar servering is a long-standing tradition here at St. Charles and is often taken up by young parishioners following their first Holy Communion.

We offer support and training and they really enjoy getting to know the rest of the Parish.

“I was an Altar server for 4 years. I enjoyed it because it gave me a lot of confidence. I made loads of friends and got to get more involved in the church. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in getting more involved.” – Claire Ghazzi

“I have been altar-serving for over 2 years. Altar-serving is about helping the priest which I like doing and it’s a good way to make friends” – Lyndsey Morquem

“I’ve been altar-serving for just 5 months. Claire and Lyndsey showed me everything I needed to do and I really enjoy it. Since becoming an altar server I feel much more part of the community and the parish.” Saoirse Ryan

” I have been altar-serving for 4 months. I’ve made new frends like Claire who trained me to be a server.

I really enjoy it.” – Angelica Tadie
