Catholic Women’s League Group – Worsley Section

Founded by Margaret Fletcher in Brighton 1906 at National Catholic Conference. Salford branch was formed in May 1906 and our section is one of 11 sections in the Diocese of Salford

It is the instrumental in the formation of CAFOD (Catholic Fund for Overseas Development)

Though many of our members to date are not as active as they were, we do support and raise money for charities and are willing to help others with prayers in our meetings. St. Margaret Clitheroe is our Patron.
