Loaves and Fishes

Originally based at Salford Cathedral, we moved to the Windsor Centre in Salford 10 years ago, where we worked in collaboration and as a registered charity, working for those on the margins of society, whatever their religion or none.

We offer food, clothing and activities together with practical and medical help in a safe, warm and non-judgemental environment. Our service to clients is built on the commitment of trustees working with and excellent staff team supported by a group of dedicated volunteers.

We work in conjunction with other agencies e.g.CAB, Salford Health Matters to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.

We rely on grants from large and small organisations such as : Society of the Holy Child Jesus, Salford City Council, Pret a Manger and C0-Op, supplemented by donations from parishes, schools and individuals. At present our funding only allows us to open to clients on 3 days a week.
